Movers Europe Modern Slavery Statement
Movers Europe is committed to a clear and unequivocal position: we have a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery, human trafficking and forced labour in any part of our operations or supply chain. This modern slavery statement sets out our approach to identifying, preventing and remediating risks related to slavery and human trafficking across our services in Europe. Our commitment and policy framework
We operate under an anti-slavery and human trafficking policy that applies to all employees, contractors and suppliers. The anti-slavery statement is embedded into our standard procurement terms and contract clauses. We require everyone in our network to adhere to our standards and to report concerns. Our leadership team reviews policy implementation regularly and enforces compliance through contractual and operational measures. We will not tolerate any form of modern slavery.
Procurement, supplier audits and controls
As part of our supplier management program we perform due diligence and supplier audits focusing on high-risk categories. Our actions include:- Risk-based supplier screening and onboarding checks.
- Planned and surprise supplier audits, including documentation and site assessments.
- Corrective action plans and contract termination for serious breaches.
Due diligence across the supply chain
We map our supply chains and prioritise areas with elevated risk of exploitation. Our supply chain due diligence includes worker interviews, payroll reviews and cross-referencing working hours and pay against legal minimums. We use a mixture of internal teams and external specialists to validate findings and ensure independence of the audit process.
Auditing process and ongoing monitoring
Supplier audits are conducted on a regular cycle and scaled to risk. High-risk partners receive annual audits, medium-risk partners are audited every two years and low-risk partners are monitored through desktop checks. Audit outcomes are documented and publicly reported within our corporate disclosures. Corrective measures and follow-ups form part of every audit plan until compliance is achieved.Reporting channels and whistleblowing
We maintain secure and accessible reporting channels for employees, contractors and third parties to raise concerns. These channels are confidential and can be used anonymously. Reports are investigated promptly, with protections against retaliation. Our reporting framework includes:- Internal grievance mechanisms managed by our compliance team.
- Independent third-party reporting options to protect anonymity.
- Clear escalation routes to senior management and, where appropriate, law enforcement.
Training, communication and capacity building
We deliver regular training on modern slavery and ethical sourcing to our employees and key suppliers. Training covers identification of indicators, how to use reporting channels, and responsibilities under our modern slavery policy. We encourage suppliers to build their own capacity through joint workshops and resource sharing.
Zero-tolerance enforcement
Enforcement of our zero-tolerance position is non-negotiable. Where investigations confirm slavery, forced labour or trafficking, we will take decisive action including contract termination, remediation for affected persons and collaboration with authorities. Our procurement contracts include clauses that allow immediate suspension or termination for breaches related to slavery and human trafficking.
